Body Brushing

Dry skin brushing before a shower or bath has many potential benefits. It can improve circulation, exfoliate the skin, stimulate the lymph nodes & reduce the appearance of cellulite. It also helps the body remove waste which is an important role during a detox.

If you don’t currently brush but would like to try, find a firm brush but nothing too abrasive and start with long strokes using a medium pressure. Start at your feet in the direction of your heart, then continue working over your entire body. Brush your tummy & chest using clockwise strokes.

After brushing, the body absorbs products more readily so it’s important to use natural products with non-toxic ingredients. Just normal olive or coconut oil is a great natural product to use!
