Gut Friendly Berry Smoothie
This is a wonderful smoothie to start the day with! It’s full of antioxidants and provides your gut with some lovely probiotics and prebiotics first thing in the morning.
Ingredients
150ml dairy or non-dairy milk, coconut milk or water
100ml kefir
1 tbsp oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
Half a banana
2 tbsps mixed berries, fresh or frozen
Add all the ingredients to a blender and pulse for around 30 seconds until you get a smooth consistency. Add some ice cubes if you like it a bit chilled! This recipe makes one portion.
